Peer Review Process
Nomira: Journal of Economics, Management, and Business applies a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of published articles. Under this system, the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process to maintain fairness, objectivity, and independence.
All submitted manuscripts are evaluated based on originality, theoretical contribution, methodological rigor, quality of analysis, relevance to the journal scope, ethical compliance, and contribution to the advancement of knowledge in economics, management, business, finance, accounting, entrepreneurship, marketing, organizational studies, public policy, and sustainable development.
Peer Review Workflow
| 1 | Initial Submission Authors submit manuscripts through the journal's online submission system along with complete metadata, author information, and required documents. |
| 2 | Editorial Screening The Editorial Office checks manuscript completeness, journal scope, formatting requirements, language quality, ethical compliance, and similarity results before further evaluation. |
| 3 | Editor Evaluation The assigned editor evaluates the manuscript's relevance, originality, research contribution, and overall suitability for Nomira. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal requirements may receive a desk rejection. |
| 4 | Double-Blind Peer Review Eligible manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers assess the manuscript's originality, theoretical framework, methodology, analysis, presentation quality, and contribution to the field. |
| 5 | Editorial Decision Based on reviewers' comments and recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief determines the editorial decision. The possible decisions include Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject. |
| 6 | Revision Process Authors are required to revise the manuscript according to reviewers' comments and provide a response letter explaining the revisions made. Revised manuscripts may be evaluated again by reviewers or editors when necessary. |
| 7 | Final Editorial Decision The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision on publication after considering the revised manuscript, reviewers' evaluations, and compliance with the journal's standards. |
| 8 | Production and Publication Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting, layout preparation, proofreading, DOI assignment, and online publication according to the journal publication schedule. |
Editorial Decisions
| Accept The manuscript is accepted for publication without requiring further substantive revision. |
Minor Revision The manuscript requires limited revisions before final acceptance. |
| Major Revision The manuscript requires substantial improvement and may be returned for further evaluation. |
Reject The manuscript does not meet the journal's scientific, ethical, or editorial requirements. |
